Health Summit Connects Industry Leaders with Students and Community

Who: Health care industry leaders, Pasco-Hernando State College (PHSC) nursing students and staff, Pasco County Schools Academy of Health and Academy for the Medical Arts students, and Pasco County community members

What: Pasco-Hernando State College Health Summit

When: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday, March 21 and Wednesday, March 22

Where: Pasco-Hernando State College Porter Campus at Wiregrass Ranch Conference Center, 2727 Mansfield Blvd. in Wesley Chapel

Why: Pasco County health and medical students, and community members will have an opportunity to advance their knowledge of the health care field and network with industry leaders.

How: Pasco Schools students and community members will have the opportunity to learn about an array of health care-related topics during discussions with industry leaders from organizations, such as Health Care Administration (HCA) Trinity, National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), and Florida Hospital Wesley Chapel. PHSC nursing students, meanwhile, will showcase their student projects and provide insight on their experience in the health care field. The event is free and open to the public.
