2009-2010 Region V School Nutrition Seminar
Child nutrition professionals will celebrate 60 years of school nutrition at their Region V Seminar on Saturday, October 3, 2009 at River Ridge Middle/High School located in New Port Richey. Child nutrition professionals can earn 6 CEUs by attending three of our 8 featured interest sessions, and laughing at our funny keynote speaker and “humorous educator,” Mr. Joel Weintraub, sponsored by the FSFS Foundation.
"Joel's presentation style was magnificent. We felt like we were at a stand up comedy hour. He got the group invovled . . .addressed the simple skills of stress management . . . and was something truly needed by our department." From Joel Weintraub's presentation brochure.
A theme-inspired lunch will be served featuring lunches from yesterday (meatloaf), today (ham and provolone panini), and tomorrow (sushi or hummus platter)! For dessert, 60th birthday cupcakes! For more information, please contact Julie Hedine, FSNA Region V Director at (813) 794-2435 or firstname.lastname@example.org
Register before September 23rd and FSNA members only pay $15.
After the 23rd, participants must register on-site for $20. For more information regarding the seminar and our keynote speaker click here

"We hope child nutrition professionals from Region V will come help us celebrate 60 years of school nutrition, participate in the interest sessions, and spend time networking with others. It should be a great time," stated Julie Hedine, FSNA Region V Director.
